This guy is a genius. It’s not enought that he directed some kick a** cartoons, but 4 of those won oscars, and 3 of those starred one of his original characters, Sylvester<\/a>. Freleng was with Warner Bros. for quite a while. (He was the first to direct Porky) and he created some great characters. (such as the aforementioned putty tat) Like yosemite sam. (who was rumored to be based on Freleng himself)<\/p>\n

He was the first to pair Sylvester with Tweety and Speedy, and he created Bugs Bunny’s second movie and helped with the third. His legacy will continue on. So to celebrate, lets reminisce about some Tweety\/Sylvester cartoons.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
